I started this blog in the summer and have had so much fun showing the recipes I've tried and little bits of me along the way. Then fall happened, classes started again, and the blog was really one of the last things on my mind as I took the maximum amount of credits and tried as best as I could to balance the daughter-sister-girlfriend-friend-student-nanny act. I haven't stopped baking and cooking, I've just stopped the picture-taking, recipe-sharing aspect :)
And now, I'm off to another country. I'll be living in a thatched roof cottage and while there is a kitchen, I imagine I won't have the amenities I'm used to here :) So you can bet that when I come back in May, I'll be itching to get back in kitchen. I don't want to stop sharing recipes and stories with you, though my lack of blogging may seem to say otherwise. I want to fully experience everything I can in Ireland (I'll definitely be keeping a journal, and maybe a travel blog too), but I know updating this blog will take me away from that experience.
So it's goodbye until May, Collecting the Moments...though I know I'll be collecting many moments abroad.
Because I have been baking, believe it or not, I'll share with you some links to recipes I've made and truly loved. None of these photos are mine, but they are beautiful and I'm quite grateful for the yummy food the recipes have allowed me to make:
(Two Peas and Their Pod)
The vanilla pudding adds such a yummy flavor to these soft cookies...mmm
(Pioneer Woman)
This is definitely a family favorite...I uses broccoli sometimes in place of the snow peas
(Pioneer Woman)
Oh gosh. Now I need this soup. So flavorful, so perfect for a winter day
(Pearls, Handcuffs, and Happy Hour)
So good! My family loves how easy and delicious this is.

Michaela I am sure Ireland will be an awesome experience! Enjoy and goodbye for now.
